It has been a challenging year for everyone. It is even more so for stuck-at-home moms. In Hong Kong, 81% of 458,000 women* are not working due to household duties. During COVID-19, we understand the situation worsened with a lot of moms deprived of jobs and learning opportunities to take care of kids when schools were closed.
Last year, we launched Moms4Moms Fellowship Program to help less-privileged moms break out from their homes and unleash their potential. We walked with ten moms from different walks of life on their road of self-discovery to even entrepreneurship. Elaine, one of the graduates, witnessed the transformation in
herself and her family, “I truly appreciate this program to inspire me to find my direction and jump out of my comfort zone.”
