We are excited to celebrate the launch of the 5th Cohort of the Moms4Moms Fellowship Program! Our opening ceremony commenced with a warm welcome from Lena Wong, Executive Director and Founder of Hong Kong Momtrepreneurs. Her inspiring introduction emphasized the importance of community and support among mothers pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams.
Anisha Ramanathan, Partner at Withers, had guided participants through a day filled with insightful discussions and networking opportunities. Our keynote speaker, Ingrid Chan, captivated the audience with her entrepreneurial journey, sharing how she transitioned from a corporate sales person to becoming a successful Chinese practitioner within a decade. Her story reminded attendees that with perseverance and passion, transformation is possible.
The panel discussion, “Pivot Our Way to Success,” featured two remarkable women: Becky Ho, who transitioned from an eight-year career in media to become the founder of Hahahaflorist, an online flower shop; and Gigi Poon, who moved from being a corporate trainer in the luxury industry to a freelancer supporting nonprofits and schools. Gigi also shared her experience to join as 2021 Moms4Moms fellows and grew to become a mentor for the same program in the consecutive three years. Their experiences highlighted the diverse paths mothers can take in their professional lives, remembering to treasure their dreams and being a role model for their children.
As we welcomed fourteen new fellows into the program, we also announced their mentor pairings, marking the beginning of an exciting journey filled with growth, learning, and collaboration. We look forward to seeing how these incredible women will flourish in their entrepreneurial endeavours!
