Moving towards the end of 2023, we are almost halfway through the 2023 Moms4Moms Fellowship Program. From an extraordinary opening in red rainstorm signal to design thinking, from digital marketing to finance, this year Moms4Moms Fellowship Program has covered diverse topics of lessons.
The two lessons of design thinking have given our fellows a great start to empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test their ideas. This is the 3rd year we have invited Terry Yim to guide us through the steps in design thinking. It helped our fellow culturative ideas and took them step by step into a business.
Finance is essential knowledge for running a business, our founder Lena has taken the fellows through the basics in managing the books and seeking resources and supports to run their businesses. We were pleased to have invited Nidhi Shah to share practical tips on communications and how effective communications can give confidence for our fellows.
Sustainability is something we cannot neglect in our everyday’s life now – we have brought the 2030 SDGs Game by Carol Yeung to Moms4Moms Fellowship this year to experience the why and how SDGs can impact our lives and our businesses. Thanks to Rolling Books and Comm, On of SVHK for hosting our fellows to have a community outreach on the day.
On 16 Nov, our fellows learnt a great deal about digital marketing and how to manage the content of their social media. Thank you Anne Suaverdez for walking us through all the tips and tricks of managing our social media in the ever changing world. We also had finished off the lesson with a get together with our mentors over bento lunch on a relaxing Thursday afternoon.
The fellowship has come to a halfway point now and we would like to appreciate all the trainers and speakers for their valuable insights and we also feel inspired by our motivating fellows to execute their business plan.
Moving into the second half of the program, we are supporting our fellows to prepare their resilience, gear up their ability to pitch and more importantly, how they should take concrete steps to implement their plan.
