A wall brimming medals has proven mother Alice and her son joining forces on a remarkable journey together through the ups and downs of life. Alice’s child was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability at the age of three. Since then, she had taken on this mammoth task and actively overcame the challenges at every stage of life. In addition to learning new sports with her son, she had also picked up cooking, which she believed that delicious food could turn into a “medicine” to heal family and friends.
Throughout the conversation with Alice, the stereotype of the vulnerable group was overturned. In her mind, the positive meaning of being a vulnerable group could bring motivation and encouragement to people without any physical limitations.
