Thank you for being with us on May 6th at HKM Mothers’ Day Flagship “Love & MOMentum” to support our 3rd Cohort Moms4Moms fellows. We are blessed to have your support to help them to learn and to take on an entrepreneurial journey.

We kicked start with HK Momtrepreneurs Board Member, Ingrid Chan shared more details on how we started Hong Kong Momtrepreneurs in 2018, our own entrepreneurial journey and mission and how we have become a charity in 2022 . Our new theme of the year 2023/2024, “Love & Momentum” was introduced by Founder & Executive Director, Lena Wong who further congratulated the 3rd Cohort Moms4Moms fellows who completed the 2022/2023 program. We invited every fellow to share their entrepreneurship dreams, feelings and key takeaways after finishing their program recently. It was so touching that we could witness their change and the Moms4Moms Fellowship Program equipped them with courage and confidence to face future challenges.
We further celebrated the day with two inspiring panels. Our first panel discussion “Upskilling for mothers and returnees” had pulled together aspiring panelists Joanne Hon, Harmony Li, Anisha Ramanathana and Vinita Turakhia, moderated by Carol Yeung. They shared their experience on how corporations or leaders bring and support more women to return to the workforce. They also gave suggestions on how to help women on balancing their family and work in a dynamic and flexible environment.
The second panel discussion “Allies & Beyond” had our panelists Dr Cheryl Chui, Annie Tang, Karen Wong and David Yee, facilitated by Robin Wong sharing their past experiences on how to break the bias and treasure the women’s talents in the workplace. In addition, they also mentioned the importance of encouraging more stay-home women to step out of their comfort zone, gaining more confidence and self-esteem to rejoin the workforce. On the other hand, employers should treasure the talents, skills and working attitudes of the employees, being more inclusive and diverse during the hiring process.
We are looking forward to the 4th Cohort Moms4Moms Fellowship Program with recruitment starting in July 2023.
