Over four transformative sessions, My Voice My Stories workshop demonstrated the power of shared experience and peer mentorship. The program was led by Gigi, an inspiring alumnus of Moms4Moms who returned as a trainer, symbolizing a beautiful cycle of growth and giving back.
The workshop guided SEN high school students from shyness to self-assurance through structured exercises like introducing themselves via a favorite color, animal, and career. This careful, step-by-step approach allowed each participant to build confidence and find their voice.
The project was a powerful example of how maternal empathy and lived experience can become the most effective tool for guidance and support.

“Moms, we are each other’s strongest support system โค๏ธ. A mother’s experience is the most gentle yet powerful force to help other mothers. These guiding techniques are just like a mother guiding a child, which was a great learning for me too! Let us together pass on our strength to one another. Because your experience is the very answer someone else needs.”
